    c. South Carolina seceded from the Union.

    d. Several other Southern states joined together to form the Confederacy.

    The election of 1860 was won by Abraham Lincoln who after that started to make regulations to ban Slavery from united states.

    Southern States who relied on a lot of slaves' workers to work on their plantation do not like this regulation and started to band together against Lincoln. Which lead to The Civil War.
