Why did the number of workers in European textile mills increase

    It was easier than doings it by hand. Also someone needed to operate the machines

    I'm assuming this is in regards to the Industrial Revolution. After the Industrial Revolution, many more jobs became available in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. These were often higher paying jobs than agriculture. As a result, many Europeans took on these jobs, increasing the number of workers in textile Mills.
