Large automobile corporations during the Depression did not suffer nearly as much as most other companies during that time. The Depression only stopped these corporations from making even larger profits from what they made in the 1920s. These automobile corporations made so much money from the 1920s that the only thing they had to worry about was not making an incredible amount of money during the Depression. The higher ups had job security and did not have to deal with any disasters like other businesses.
