Why do you think apathy and indifference are important to the discussion of understanding what led up to the Holocaust?

    I'm sure there are several different ways you could answer this, but I would say that surrounding countries (namely America) were apathetic and indifferent to the massacre in Germany. During ww2 America prioritized military victory over humanitarian concerns.
