What nonreligious movement loved nature and favored a simple life?

    I can think of the Physiocrats, a current of thought of the second half of the 18th century; I can think of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and, of course, of Romanticism. A movement born in the 19th century on German Territory and rapidly extending all over Europe.
