    It is important to preserve natural places such as Carlsbad Canyon because they are easily damaged by human activity and some of them have special significance for Native Americans, since in some of them people can appreciate the lifestyle of the natives, and some of their customs, so the state decided to protect them to try to preserve as much as possible, the history they show.
