    The correct answer should be either Giuseppe Mazzini or Giuseppe Garibaldi. Garibaldi was more famous though so he might be the right choice. They were both important in the Italian uprising and unification and led the armies in the war. Mazzini came up with the idea of unification and a capital in Rome.
