The Holocaust was a horrific event. Over six million Jews died, other 5 million non-jews also perished. This happened as nations stood by while millions were murdered in the most inhumane ways and did absolutely nothing. The reason people around the world are putting this in remembrance is to recall and make it live the pain that millions of innocent people went through and to ensure that this will never ever happen again.
