Were Ronald Reagan's economic policies and desire for smaller government successful?

    It has and it hasn't, depending on who you ask. The country grew immeasurably and people started spending more and earning more and paying fewer taxes and the country developed. What was bad about it is that the nation's debt increased by huge amounts and the national debt is still a problem today.
