What evidence do historians use to show that Maya had advantage knowledge of astronomy

Funny that you ask that, since I just went over it in my World History class. Historians know that the Maya had advantage of astronomy, because they developed a 365 day solar calendar like the one we use and made serval other tools like it, like a 200 day calendar for festivals.
