How did franklin roosevelt's election as president change the way the u. s. government responded to the great depression?

    President Franklin Roosevelt responded to the great depression by using a live radio station "fireside chats". In this fireside chats, President Roosevelt explain to the nation how could he address the banking crisis and to assure people that they should not be afraid. Using the radio as a medium, he lifted the hearts of the people and he raise the economy as well.
