    Eventually, neither Confucian activism nor Daoist withdraw could tackle the issues that tormented China amid the Period of the Warring States. Request came back to China simply after the rise of a third school of believed that of the Legalists which advanced a useful and heartlessly effective way to deal with statecraft. Not at all like the Confucians, the Legalists did not worry about morals, profound quality, or legitimacy.
