    Only for the record, In 1997, Russia and Ukraine marked the Partition Treaty, setting up two autonomous national armadas and separating combat hardware and bases between them. Ukraine likewise consented to rent significant parts of its new bases in Sevastopol to the Russian Black Sea Fleet until 2017.
