What do you think the authors of the Declaration of Independence meant when they wrote that people have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Explain. Give an example of each right in your explanation.

    They meant that you can live, have freedom, and that you can’t own your own private land. This meant you had independence.
