Nez Perce Pierce tribe. They are also known as NiimĂĂpu which means people that go around on foot. French travellers gave them the name Nez Perce and this means pierced nose. The treaty with the Nez Perce indian tribe was concluded in Walla walla County on the 11th of June, 1855. These group of local indians lived in the montaineus part of the Columbian River, in the USA for more than 10,000 years and they were the most prosperous local tribes because they had more resources and more people than any other and also they were the first tribe to meet foreigners because they were good traders and also excellent fighers.
