Which is a major reason that colonies wanted their independence from European nations? The colonized countries disliked the borders that European colonizers had drawn. Europeans colonized an area for their own benefit, which often damaged the colonized country. Europeans forced too many citizens of the colonies to be involved in the government of the colonies. The native peoples of the colonies wanted to grow more profitable trade crops.

    They wanted freedom cause they wanted money, wanted freedom from the king, and wanted a better life
