To what extent did women benefit from the American and french revolution?

The women during the revolution events were the first time they spoke of equality and their rights as women. The women had mentioned, that they deserved to have equal opportunities like what the men have. Because at the time, and probably until now women were viewed as objects and as accessories for their husbands.
