How did the writers of the U. S. Constitution adapt the political theories of the enlightenment?

    The writers were influenced by the natural rights of citizens that were derived from the ideas of enlightenment. They rephrases the text so that it would be expressed in words of their own, and that text was seen as a way to benefit the people of te land, so it was amended to become apart of the Constitution.
