In what ways was it clear that Hatshepsut was aware of her unusual position?

    Well Queen Hatshepsut was one of the only women pharaohs. Her husband died and her son was to young so it was her duty. She knew that women (normally) wasn't suppose to be pharaohs and that it was to high in the hierarchy for them at the time. But, she did things just like a man would do. And I am for sure she was aware of position because of a few things. It was rare that there was a woman pharaoh. She changed her style to fit pharaoh, for example growing a beard and braiding it.
