    The correct answer is D. India didn't pick sides between the Soviet Union and the United States.

    The Nonaligned movement was a group of countries that didn't want to choose sides in the cold war. They were mostly talking about china which was communist and thus related to the soviet union. However, they didn't take sides and kept to themselves.
