How were the colonists able to embrace both the enlightenment and evangelical religion at the same time? forms of production made these regions diverse. what made them more alike was?

    The colonists were able to embrace evangelical religious beliefs in regards to their spiritual and faith-based values in their activities, but were practical when accepting enlightenment ideals in terms of how best to operate and run the newly established government and control in the region.
