How did the death of president Harrison impact the Whig party?

    It took the Whig party out of control, becaue John Tyler held more Democratic views and refused to pass Whig bills while in office

    Because of this, alienation happens between The whig party and John Tyler. This goes on and on until eventually John tyler decided to end his affiliation with the Whig party and returned to his former party.
