Due to its pagan roots, we also honour plants at Christmas time. But which of these yuletide plants are commonly called 'phoradendron' or 'tree thief'?

    I believe the answer is Mistletoe.

    Mistletoe is the type of plant that originated from Great Britain before it spread around the world through international trades.

    The term 'tree thief' came from the parasitic nature of one of its type that stole nutrients from other trees
