List three challenges that african americans in the south might faced after emancipation from slavery.

Many different challenges were faced for example there was not much work in the South except for plantation work which they had just been emancipated from. Since they were slaves they often did not have much money or property which lead to them migrating to the North. Additionally discrimination continued to happen even after slavery got abolished.
