    The German Unification had a number of important effects. First, German war debt was immediately reconciled and paid off. Second, a number of European alliances were created. Third, the rise of state socialism in Germany. Fourth, Germany became an industrial leader throughout Europe.

    German Unification leads to Franco-Prussian War. Another effect is exposing tensions from differences social, religious, cultural and linguistic between the residents of the new state. It lengthened the authority of the Prussia Kingdom. The Prussian group went to Austria and acquired control of Schleswig state.
