The map shows Europe's two major alliances in place in 1905. Which best explains why these alliances created tensions in Europe?

    Even without the map if we just read and view the alliances that occur in Europe during that year we can see it created tensions because such alliances created two camps in Europe that trying to out-do and out-wit each other and a small conflict would result into a large-scale war because of the alliances that would dragged each other if such incident or conflict would happened.
