How was america transformed from a peacetime to a wartime economy? what were the steps that america took to mobilize for their war with the axis powers?

It was transformed through the duration of the early phase of World War 2 when US joined the Allied Forces after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The US economy become a wartime economy to suffice and supply the need of the Allied Forces in the field and to provide the equipment to combat the opponents. They transformed a lot of factories into weapons factories and constructed a lot of military camps throughout the country.
