Why did the Federalists NOT support the wealthy farmers as leaders for the government? 1) They were tired of people like Washington controlling politics. 2) They believed the future wealth depended on industrial leaders. 3) They did not like the southerners making all decisions. 4) Hamilton had sold his plan explaining that saving the economy could only happen through the businesses.
