    The answer to this question is They were able to identify with one another, and worked together to obtain the freedom they wanted.

    At that time, both slaves and servants were placed at the bottom of social pole, where they basically receive inhumane treatments from others. Due to their effort in activism they decided to go out and obtain their own freedom rather than sitting around waiting for others to give it to them
