Due to the railroad American settlers were able to travel in larger numbers how did this migrations impact American Indians

    American Indians' had a strong relationship with the buffalo. The U. S. government decided that because of this they should kill all the buffalo. They felt that if there were no more buffalo left, then the Native Americans would give up there land and become civilized people

    The railroad allowed for greater Western expansion, thus forcing Native American tribes and peoples further and further west as they were pushed out of their homelands.
