What items were transported to africa and traded for captured africans?

    Captured Africans were exchanged for trade items like guns, brass pans and cotton. Said mixed items were brought in a large cargo on ships going to Africa to be used to trade enslaved Africans. The latter were then shipped across the Atlantic Ocean to North and South America and the Caribbean.
