What evidence is there in 1939 and 1940 that the united states did not like the new order

    They disliked the fact that Japanese people were imposing their hegemony, their so-called New Order, on Asian countries and that they were becoming too strong and kind of a fascist regime. Eventually, it all went to hell with Pearl Harbor and that's when the US army stopped it after numerous battles in the Pacific Region.
