    The correct answer should be Attacking castles and leaving members of the tribe behind to make it their own

    This happened a few times but was far from common as their idea of fighting was go to a coast nearby, raid the local area, including churches and monasteries where there was usually a lot of gold and metal due to things like candle holders or similar items, and then they would just go back to their homeland with the goods.
