    Globalization led to an increased consumption of products which is damaging to the ecological system. The amount of fuel that is consumed in transporting these products has led to several environmental problems such as pollution and landscape intrusion. The industrial waste that is generated as a result of production has been loaded on ships and dumped harmful chemicals in oceans killed underwater organisms.
