The American society became more democratic and individualistic as a result of the presence of the frontier.

The frontier made people more independent and tough.

Being constantly on the move made Americans more flexible and adaptive to changes.

These moves influenced the American society as people viewed each others as equals, became more creative in finding ways to adapt to new situations and surroundings and learnt how to cope with all the situations and problems they faced.
