Why were large-scale slave uprisings nearly impossible in the british colonies of north america?

    They couldn't because for large-scale revolts to occur, the people have to organize themselves and it was impossible to do this because the plantations were the only places where they had any access to life since they were huge and far away from other plantations. They could organize small-scale rebellions, but large-scale ones were impossible.
