What rights are the writers claiming they have in the declaration of independence?

    They say that they have the right to life, liberty and property and pursuit to happiness. Also, they see their own ideas and aspirations are in this declaration. The writers felt the tyranny and oppression of England which made them claim their right to be freed and be separated from the colonizer.
