The journalist has a commitment to secure the general population who approach to adjust something influencing the overall population.

Regularly police offices advance tip lines and guarantee the general population privacy when individuals report violations or criminal movement.

There's appears to be no contrast between somebody bringing in a tip about medication carrying or conversing with a journalist about unscrupulous exercises which won't be criminal but rather influence society.
