    The Bacon's Rebellion was a first rebellion in the colonies in opposition to the British rule and it happened in Virginia. Though the British quickly established control it was still an important event in the US history. The indentured servants and the slaves had an alliance here but the strengthening of the slave laws happened in order to divide them. The slave labor became more profitable and thus became preferred labor.
