How did the battle of new orleans affect america attitude toward the war of 1812 and their country?

    It didn't because the war was already almost over. It id change how they felt towards Andrew Jackson who gained massive popularity after the battle. It also enabled them to support the manifest destiny idea because they started harboring the idea that they should go westward. It also affected their relation with Britain positively.
