Explain why some women's rights activists were angry when the rights of African Americans were expanded after the Civil War

    I'm assuming they were angry because their rights weren't expanded.

    Women's rights activists fought alongside human rights activists for equal natural and civil rights, however, only slaves and people of color got more rights. Women were still left underrepresented in the society and obviously they were mad because of that.
