    About 91,369 people lived in the Tenochititlan when it was at the height of its culture while the number of people that lived in the Aztec capital was around 92,000. In total, there were about 200,000 people that practiced the religion of the Aztec. The Aztec people are those people who lived in Mexico, Central America and South America. They were certain ethnic groups of central Mexico, particularly those group of people who spoke the Nahuatl language who dominated large parts of Mesoamerica from the 14th to 16th centuries.
