    Karl Marx believed that communist revolution was most likely to occur in nations that were strongly capitalistic and in which workers were poorly treated and underpaid. Marx believed, strongly, that communist revolution would be inspired by workers who felt themselves to be oppressed (and repressed) by those who owned the means of production.
