    One of the difference would be how these colonizers based on types of power they implement on the natives. Britain tends to be a hard power. They were strict, they make rules and that everyone must follow. People are forced to do what the kingdom wants. The French colonizers are more into soft power. They intermarry and trade with the natives for them to convert them and follow them without using violence.
