How did the scramble for african colonies began?

    European countries invaded and subjugated almost all the African continent between 1975 and 1914. The reason is that the attitude based on empire, technological advances, political and social concerns led different government to believe the African occupation would be possible, necessary and cheap. Technological developments created a short lived, but radical discrepancy between African and European countries.
