With the fall of communist governments in the 1990s, what kinds of problems have arisen in what places

Political unrest amongst other issues occured in the Balkans (Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia) in these places peace could not be gotten by the usual means because of how those countries or states were structured. Countries were dismantled because minority ethnicities opposed dominance by majority ethnicities
