Communications advances contributed to learning, discovery, and new scientific methods in Europe by allowing people to communicate with each more easily and thus allowing knowledge to spread more quickly as people learned new things they could share that with others. This spread of knowledge also contributed to science as scientists are the most likely to share knowledge and would thus benefit most from communications advances.
