    D. The state of Bosnia was divided into two regions.

Bosnia remained as a single state, but was to be made up of two parts: the Bosnian Serb Republic and the Bosniak-Croat Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo was kept as the capital city fo the whole nation.

The Dayton Agreement (also called the Dayton Accords) got that name because the negotiations for the agreement occurred at an air force base outside of Dayton, Ohio, in the United States.
