Harappa and Mohenjo are well-built and schemed in the outline of a military stronghold that could simply supervise the municipality streets. The municipalities were very progressive. Most communities had enclosed plumbing. The Harappans established good-looking craftsman’s crafts and a structure of weights and measures. India’s first writing system was also established and developed.
