    The correct answer here is that Kennedy supported the use of military forces in order to protect minority rights.

    At first Kennedy was hesitant to react but after numerous instances of violence and breaches of minority's rights Kennedy acted. He used the National Guard that is, he deployed the National Guard in order to enforce the desegregation at the University of Alabama on June 11, 1963.
